Local Lodge No. 237 Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer Mark Pinard recently announced scholarships for the 2012/13 academic calendar year.
Please join us in congratulating these fine individuals and wishing them well on their paths to higher education:
- Michael LeGrand (son of Member Daniel LeGrand) – $750 to attend Champlain College (VT) where he is majoring in Graphic Design and Media Art.
- Elyssa Shildneck (daughter of Member Rick Shildneck) – $750 to attend American University (Washington, DC) where she is working on her Masters degree in Public Administration.
- Valeri Lanteri (daughter of Vinnie Lanteri) – $750 to attend Norwich Technical School in (CT)
As in the past, Local Lodge No. 237’s scholarship program continues to be funded through their annual golf tournament.
Scholarships are available annually and are offered to dependents of Boilermaker Local Lodge No. 237 members in good standing (includes sons, daughters, legally adopted children or dependents of active, retired, disabled, or deceased members) who are continuing their education in an academic program at an accredited college or university.
